Sean Sullivan, a well known Oakland politician and activist, started Covenant House in what was once the home of Oakland Mayor and now California Governor Jerry Brown on 2nd and Harrison. Covenant House provides shelter for Oakland's homeless youth. Now the SF Super Bowl Host Committee's 50 Fund has recognized the work of Covenant House and Sean with a 10,000 grant. Congratulations to both!
