President Barack Obama was at Comic Con 2013 with his Secret Service detail. They walked into the press room at 27 A, B, looked around, and then walked away. But one man who was with them asked this blogger, er me, if I wanted to talk to the President.
I said "Yes!"
And so became the video walk with "President Obama," otherwise known as Reggie Brown.

The Miami Heat beat The San Antonio Spurs 95 to 88 to earn their second NBA Finals win and NBA Championship in two straight years – they did it back-to-back. Now, as some are wondering if the Miami Heat can three-peat (And how cool is it to see Pat Riley running this organization?), this blogger prefers to look back on “The Decision,” because I blogged about it.
LeBron James called “Queen James” on Twitter (Cavs 85 Celtics 94)
It’s easy to forget all of this started not too long ago in Cleveland, at the 2010 NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Finals, when LeBron James led the Cleveland Caveliers to The NBA Playoffs, only to be rudely beaten in a seven game series by Boston Celtics. The Twitterverse created an unkind name for LeBron: “Queen James.” And I wrote this: More at Zennie62.com: Miami Heat, NBA Champs Back-To-Back; The Decision Pays For LeBron - http://www.zennie62blog.com/2013/06/21/miami-heat-nba-champs-back-to-back-the-decision-pays-for-lebron-36393/

The San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl Bid appears to have the upper hand as it is buttressed by an incredible new stadium that will open in 2014, and was built in part with a municipal bond issue.
By contrast, the media has had a field day making fun of the Miami Dolphins and its owner Stephen Ross’ problems with the Florida Speaker of The House, and the electorate down there which seemed poised to reject Dolphins’ requested use of a hotel tax increase, even if the Florida House had voted for it, which it did not get the chance to do.Dolphins’ Stephen Ross Not Super Bowl Bid Weakling

As Miami prepares its bid to host Super Bowl 50, and is up against San Francisco for that right, let's look back at great moments in Miami Super Bowl Host History. Here, in 2007, LL Cool J was the featured performer at The ESPN Next Party. Check it out:

Rihanna, the lovely famed singer who’s equally famous for her row with rapper Chris Brown, was just seen leaving a London hotel in a mosh of fans and press (which are the same thing, now-a-days).
This just happened: a Twitter user by the name of Jesal Parshotam put out a photo on Twitter (which is putting it in the public domain) and said in two Twitter tweets, he tried to get Rihanna to talk about “her relationship with Chris Brown” but she was having none of it. Zennie62.com takes up the question of Capt Kirk v Capt Picard, and introduces new vlogger Jessica Mann in the process. This also marks the first official “person-on-the-street” video produced for Zennie62 on YouTube, where we go around and ask people for their view on a question of the moment. It also marks the first of our SCI-FI DEBATES and Star Trek Debates series of videos, where we ask burning questions on the minds of Trekkers, Geeks, and Nerds (is there a difference) everywhereCapt Kirk v Capt Picard – Star Trek Debates Video
PSY’s Gangnum Style YouTube video has not just accumulated 812,794,421 views (as of this writing), but lost in the news that the music video has surpassed Justin Bieber’s “Baby” for YouTube’s most watched video is the fact that, along the way, it’s gained revenue from the ads placed on it. In fact, by this blogger’s estimate based on experience as a YouTube Partner, PSY’s earned almost $2 million in Google AdSense revenue since it was first posted on July 15th. Hope Solo has been really busy. In the space of less than two weeks, she had a party, went to court to get the man she planned to marry out of jail after an alleged domestic violence incident, married him just hours later, then flew to Tampa to fish with him, traveled to Chicago for a show, flew back to Tampa, and then, on Thanksgiving Day, settled down to eat and by her own admission do the impossible: get fat. The people you meet in airports. In the middle of a hectic, stressful travel day where this blogger waited four hours to board a delayed flight that switched gates three times, Santa Claus showed up.
No, Santa Claus didn’t have his sleigh or eight reindeer, but he did have a calling card: his calling card. It read Santa Claus. Read about the rest at Zennie62.com: Santa Claus Is Headed To Hawaii

The competition for future Super Bowl host cities for Super Bowl's 50 and 51 was established last week, when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell set San Francisco up against first Miami for Super Bowl 50, and then Houston for 51, should Miami win for 50.
That places San Francisco, which is building a new stadium for the 49ers, in the position of being behind against a legendary Super Bowl host, and one that, having hosted it once, is hungry to get it again.
The legendary host is, of course, Miami. "South Florida," as the NFL calls it, has hosted the Super Bowl 10 times, a record matched only by New Orleans. Houston hosted the Super Bowl in 2004, and having done a very good job, wants to host it again, and has been at the plate fighting for the right to do so once more before this time. Houston's hungry.
What both Miami and Houston have in their favor are coordinated efforts that are joint ventures. In Houston's case, the bid is a combination of the resources of the Houston Texans, the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Harris County/Houston Sports Authority, and Reliant Park.
What San Francisco has in its favor is the new stadium, a number of top-quality hotels, and a good regional infrastructure. But what San Francisco does not have in its favor is that it's never hosted a Super Bowl, and it never bid for one - the last time, Oakland did.
That effort was ran by this blogger.
