The idea that Coliseum City is dead because Floyd Kephart's New City Development LLC's Exclusive Negotiating Agreement has expired is completely wrong. On Wednesday, Oakland City Administrator Claudia Cappio and Oakland-Alameda Coliseum Executive Director Scott McKibben met with Oakland Raiders President Marc Badain to talk next steps for building a stadium for the Oakland Raiders; they also met with the Oakland Athletics on the matter of a stadium for that organization. Coliseum City will be more focused, and smaller. Meanwhile the meeting on my Coliseum City plan went very well Wednesday night. More to come.
