East Side Sushi is an Oakland-made Independant film that premiers September 18th at The Grand Lake Theater, The Elmwood Sundance Kabuki, the Rafael, and other movie houses. East Side Sushi was made with the help of a number of establishments in Oakland and around Lake Merritt and Fruitvale district too. The writer / director writer/director, Anthony Lucero is an Oakland Native. and used sushi restaurants here: Coach Sushi, B Dama and Midori as well the taco truck, Sinaloa. See it.
