The opening statements in the first Democratic Debate were all stellar but it was Bernie Sanders who hit the liberal marks that have propelled his run for President. Sanders was not afraid to talk about the problems of blacks and Latinos. Hillary Clinton only mentioned racial divisions but that was it. Sanders got more applause.
