NFL Commissioner Goodell Says Oakland Must Find Long Term Stadium Solution At the NFL Draft Town, and just before he entered the Sweetness Simulation (named for Walter Payton), NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell took time to address the matter of Oakland and the Oakland Raiders need for a new stadium. This has caused the Raiders to seek a possible new stadium in Carson, California, and to the anger of many Raiders fans - save for those few in Southern California.
