Mark Davis, the Oakland Raiders Owner, is pursuing a Las Vegas NFL Stadium dream - and it will remain just that considering its basic fiscal concept problems. The plan is based on the gathering of almost $800 million in tax revenues and in tern those monies rely on tourism volume - something unheard of in NFL stadium financing. It means Las Vegas lacks the built in population ready to buy season rockets and club tickets. The survey mentioned did not have prices for tickets and club tickets as part of the question set. Add those and many Las Vegas residents would back off. In all, Mark Davis is better off bringing Majestic to Oakland. The base to privately finance a stadium via its own revenues is here. Stay tuned.
