Rockridge Kitchen Tour Oakland 9-20-2015 RCPC proudly presents the eleventh biennial Rockridge Kitchen Tour on Sunday, September 20, 12:30-5:30 pm. This self-guided tour offers guests an inside look at eight newly renovated kitchens, in a wide variety of styles, sizes, and budgets, and a full-home tour of the landmark Morse House. See the techniques used by architects, contractors, and homeowners to maximize the renovation dollar - all with outstanding results. Whether you are looking for inspiration and resources for an upcoming project, or just love great design, these Rockridge kitchens are stunning, and the tour will be a memorable experience. Two extra events have been added to this year’s tour: the Kitchen Expo on Sept 17 and a special, limited- capacity, kitchen remodeling seminar with renovation specialist Berkeley Mills on Sept 19. Advance standard tickets cost $40 and the Berkeley Mills Seminar option costs an additional $25. Past tours have funded a variety of Rockridge community projects , including FROG Park, the Rockridge Library, the Rockridge BART station Plaza, and restoring the historic gate at Claremont Middle School. This year, RCPC is dedicating $5,000 of Kitchen Tour proceeds to fund a community grants program to encourage local volunteer efforts.
