Oakland Raiders Not Withholding Coliseum Rent

Contrary to reports the Oakland Raiders are not withholding Coiseum rent. There are issues with the lease, which still remains outstanding. The real story is how Deena McClain, the Coliseum JPA attorney, went out and issued a statement on the Raiders on her own. And even though Scott Mckibben, the new executive director, had not yet come to start work. Deena could have waited for Scott but she did what she has done for years: acted as her own PR firm. All of this is behind closed doors for now. It will be handled. The Raiders aren't trying to skip town without paying rent. Everyone needs to relax.
