Earlier this week, the several Alameda County sources called me to vent that the reason for their decision to offer to sell their share of the Oakland Coliseum was that the City of Oakland was dysfunctional. They pointed to Oakland Planning and Development Director Claudia Cappio as calling a Coliseum City meeting between City, County, Raiders and NFL that "no one wanted". Well, Eric Grubman did want the meeting and as it seems we were not ready. But the County Of Alameda should reconsider its idea of selling its part of the Oakland Coliseum to Oakland.
